Devin Stephens

Devin has spent his career at the intersection of commercial real estate and active development in the Canadian mountain west, with a particular depth of expertise in the Canmore market. He knows this town’s commercial landscape in a way that only comes from years of operating within it: the zoning nuances, the planning relationships, the off-market deal flow, and the rhythms of a market unlike any other in Alberta. That knowledge, combined with a track record across hospitality, retail, and development land, has made him one of the most trusted commercial advisors in the Bow Valley.

Beyond brokerage, Devin is the CEO of Edelweiss Village + Resort, currently in development in Golden, BC, a 53-acre mountain heritage resort adjacent to the Golden Skybridge and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. This active development role gives Devin a perspective on commercial real estate that no purely transactional advisor can match.

Before commercial real estate, Colby built a career in professional hockey, a discipline that shaped how he thinks, leads, and competes. The mental toughness, team-first leadership, and relentless preparation that defined his playing career are the same qualities he brings to every client engagement. He knows what it takes to perform at the highest level under pressure, and that standard has never left him.

Colby is also a founder and COO of Edelweiss Village + Resort, working alongside Devin to bring one of Western Canada’s most compelling mountain resort development projects from vision to reality. His operational leadership and strategic thinking are central to the project’s execution.

In the Bow Valley, Colby leads across all three markets, Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise, bringing both the breadth of a full-corridor advisor and the depth of someone who has navigated the leasehold complexities of the national park markets across multiple transactions.
